Yes, you do! In today’s competitive market place it is very important to make sure people know about your programs and what makes you different and better than others in your area. Marketing in not about being pushy or “sleazy” but about helping people understand the value of what you do and how it will help them. Without marketing it is challenging to have a full program.

Although we will occasionally touch upon time management, goal-setting, and other “business coach-y” things, Kris Murray is solely a child care marketing expert and business consultant. We ONLY work with people in the child care field. In other words, We don’t consult with people in mid-sized companies or large corporations and Kris is not a Jill-of-all-trades-coach. We refer those businesses to other coaches.

Who are your clients exactly?
We work with people in early childhood education who are really good at what they do; however, most have never been taught exactly how to market or set up systems in order to ALWAYS be successfully attracting, enrolling, and retaining new families. Our clients tend to be owners or directors looking to reach the next level of success, or to solve the pains they are experiencing in their child care program. Interestingly, many of our clients are husband-wife teams who own between 2 and 6 locations. That said, the people we’ve worked with run the whole gamut – from start-ups to people who’ve been in the business for 35 years or more.

What type of personality do you work best with and what is expected of me?
Our workshops, products and programs were created for people who are absolutely excited and deadly serious about growing their enrollment and revenue and ending what we call “the 3:00 a.m. sweats”, meaning, not waking up in the middle of the night anymore saying, “how will I ever make payroll this week?” They were created for you to put systems in place within a few months (sometimes weeks!), which will eventually lead you to getting all the family clients you need.

For what type of child care professional is this program NOT going to work?
Please know I’m very selective in who I work with and I cherry-pick my clients, choosing to (gently) turn away people who aren’t suited for my programs and won’t get the results for which they would have signed up for. (It wouldn’t be fair to them.)
Our Child Care Marketing programs are NOT for those who have no money coming in and are absolutely, financially desperate, at least not right away. It’s been my experience that people in financial crisis do not trust the recommendations I give them and do not do the work (probably because they spend so much time worrying about where they are going to get this week’s payroll or this month’s mortgage payment.)

Another type of person I won’t work with (without exception) is the whiner or the chronic skeptic, as well as individuals who consistently make excuses for not getting their assignments done or challenging every aspect of the program. If you are one of these people, I gently and respectfully ask that you not call and I hope you understand why. We’ll probably just not work well together and I wouldn’t want you to waste your time or money. Is that fair?

All components are compatible with Mac except for some forms, which are in Microsoft Excel & Word format. If you have a Mac, you can still access the PDF versions of the forms with Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Obviously, this depends on many factors – especially how much you put into the assignments that we give you. That said, virtually all of our clients see results within the first couple of months (and sometimes just a matter of weeks) in the form of new enrollments, better family retention, more revenue, turning more prospects into enrollments, and more referrals from these client families.
Will I recover the investment I put into this coaching program?
